One amazing thing I discovered early in life is that God has given us a powerful spiritual instrument—the ability to speak His Word in FAITH and bring divine influence into earthly situations. In the Kingdom of God, words are not empty sounds; they carry spiritual authority, they shift climates, and they determine outcomes.
From the very beginning, God revealed the power of spoken words. In creation, He spoke, and what He declared became reality (Genesis 1-2). This same principle operates in the life of the believer. As children of God and joint heirs with Christ, we have been given the privilege of declaring His Word over situations and expecting His power to bring those words to pass. Many times, believers pray about circumstances but fail to consistently speak God’s Word over them. FAITH, however, is expressed through words. The Bible says that “we having the same spirit of FAITH… we believe and therefore speak” (2 Corinthians 4:13). Beloved, FAITH is not silent. It declares what God has said even when the natural evidence suggests otherwise.
Legislating outcomes by FAITH means speaking the Word of God into your circumstances until they align with divine truth. When challenges arise, the believer does not surrender to fear or negative reports; instead, he stands on God’s promises and declares them boldly. In 2022, my two-year-old son suddenly woke up unable to stand or walk. After two days of observation, we sought medical answers, only to receive a report that shook our natural world: scans revealed he had six lumbar vertebrae instead of the standard five, an anomaly with nerve compression that threatened to paralyze his future. The doctors insisted on surgery, warning he might never walk again. While the report was depressing, I refused to let fear give the enemy a foothold in my home. Choosing to legislate a divine outcome, we released the power of FAITH and prophetic prayer over his spine, literally tearing up the medical report in defiance of that diagnosis. Today, that boy is six years old and has walked perfectly ever since. He is a living testimony to the authority of God’s Word over every facts-based report.
Beloved, make up your mind from today to deliberately align your speech with the authority of God’s Word. When you speak the Word in FAITH, you release spiritual authority that influences situations and positions you to see God’s promises manifested in your life.
SAY THIS PRAYER:
Thank You, Lord, for the authority You have given me through Your Word to legislate the outcomes of my life and others. As I speak Your Word from today, I declare that Your power brings transformation, victory, and fulfillment of Your promises in my life, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
