HEALING IS YOUR INHERITANCE
Healing is one of the greatest blessings that God has made available to His children. From the Old Testament to the New Testament, the Bible reveals God as Jehovah Rapha—the Lord who heals (Exodus 15:26). His divine healing is not just for the body but also for the mind and soul. If you are in need of healing today, know that God’s power is still at work, bringing restoration and wholeness to those who believe.Throughout Scripture, we see the miraculous healing power of God at work in the lives of His people.
Naaman, a commander of the Syrian army, suffered from leprosy. He was instructed by the prophet Elisha to dip seven times in the Jordan River (2 Kings 5:1-14). Though he initially hesitated, he obeyed in FAITH, and his flesh was restored like that of a young child. His healing reminds us that God’s power works through obedience and FAITH.
In Mark 5:25-34, a woman who had suffered for twelve years with a bleeding condition reached out to touch the hem of Jesus’ garment, believing that she would be healed. Instantly, her bleeding stopped! Jesus told her, “Daughter, your FAITH has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering” (Mark 5:34). This shows again that FAITH is key to receiving healing.
I personally love the account of the paralyzed man, who was brought to Jesus by his friends (Luke 5:17-26).They lowered him through a roof because of the crowd. Seeing their FAITH, Jesus not only forgave his sins but also commanded him to rise, take up his mat, and walk. This powerful miracle reveals that Jesus heals both spiritually and physically.
What about Bartimaeus, the blind beggar, that cried out to Jesus for mercy? (Mark 10:46-52) Despite opposition, he persisted. I always insist that Believers persist. Jesus responded to Bartimaeus’FAITH and restored his sight. His story demonstrates that persistence in FAITH brings healing and deliverance.
HEALING IS FOR YOU TODAY!
God’s healing power is not limited to biblical times. Hebrews 13:8 declares, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” This means that He still heals today! If you are believing for healing, act in FAITH by standing on God’s promises, confessing His Word, and refusing to give in to doubt.
